What do do before the gig
Rehearse at our studio if you wish….. obviously!
Then give us a call, email or submit the contact form to let us know about your music, musicians and venue details.
What to do at the gig
When you meet us, please give us your set-list, running order, your programme contents or even musical score, before you play, as this will help with smooth-running for everybody on the night, and also later for our post-production and titles.
We advise you to use our KARSECT walkman-style wireless in-ear-monitors (I.E.M.’s) when you play or sing in a loud environment, as this will give you near-to-studio conditions, allowing you to hear exactly what you need to hear live, will help protect your hearing, and will also give us a much better sound to work with, than with the use of on-stage wedge monitors. There is much less unwanted audio arriving at our microphones. This is definitely worth trying out in rehearsal or during a sound-check though, as many people are not used to it yet. So please give it a go!
What to do after the gig
We would normally expect to finish your video edit and mixes within 48 hours, so get in touch with us to find out when your recording will be ready for you to experience at our studio, or in your own environment, and then you can advise us of any changes that you may require to the mix or edit. Please note that additional mixing or editing time will have to be chargeable.
