He’s doing okay for a drummer in my book. So glad he didn’t turn out like Phil Collins. Okay, okay .disregard. Phil is okay in small doses (except that Soo-soo-soodio song that a sooo-sooo hate!).

Glad you both like this one. It was written by Ringo and Van Dyke Parks. And yep, no multi-colored berdaed guys named Mark in the band anymore. However there are a few other names to speak of on the album like Ringo’s brother-in-law (aka Joe Walsh), Steve Dudas (one of the Roundheads), Benmont Tench (yes! from Tom Petty The Heartbreakers), Dave Stewart, Ben Harper, Richard Marx (?!) doing some vocals and of course Paul McCartney.

Great To hear from you Pete. I loved seeing this. It proved to me what a great bassist Paul has always been too. Such strange basslines that shouldn’t really work, but of course they do. Genius! And, how did they get such a good live drum sound recorded with so few mics? Hope you’re well, stay in touch. Martyn
